Merit Hertzman-Ericson (4 February 1911 – 26 March 1998) was a Swedish psychologist and author. After graduating in Stockholm in 1930, she continued her education at the Sorbonne in Paris. She earned her bachelor's degree in Stockholm in 1942 and PhL in 1946. She worked as a director at the New School, a psychologist at the Stockholm Child Welfare Board, and was involved in Norwegian film censorship. She was a secretary for the Swedish Society for Group Psychotherapy and served on the clinical department of the Psychology Association.
