Merv Kemp, born Mervyn Douglas Kemp on June 13, 1942, is a former Australian shot putter. He achieved significant milestones in his athletic career, such as finishing fifth at the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games held in Perth. In addition, Kemp secured the title of Australian Champion in shot put multiple times in 1965 and 1975 and also won the Australian Championship in discus throw in 1976.
