Reginald Mervyn Pinfield was a British television producer and director known for his work with the BBC during the 1950s and 1960s. He was an experienced producer before joining the BBC to work in live drama at Alexandra Palace. He served as the associate producer for the iconic series Doctor Who, contributing from the very first episode, 'An Unearthly Child' in 1963, until the end of the production block with 'The Romans' in 1965.
