Mette Thiesen is a Danish politician born on December 20, 1981, in Fredensborg. She has been a member of the Folketing since 2019, initially elected for the Nye Borgerlige party and re-elected in 2022. After leaving Nye Borgerlige in late 2022, she served as an independent until February 2023, when she joined Dansk Folkeparti. Thiesen was previously a member of the Conservative People's Party and was on the municipal council for Hillerød Municipality from 2013 to 2021.
