Markus Gebauer, known as MGness, is a prominent German Techno DJ and photographer born in March 1979 in Münster. He began his DJ career in 1992, quickly gaining recognition at various events throughout North Rhine-Westphalia. MGness became a resident DJ at the Cosmic Club in 1996 and has represented this iconic venue across Europe. He has also produced music, including a 2004 anthem for Mysticland and co-founded the Techno project Unravel in 2013. Beyond music, he explores and photographs abandoned urban locations under the name urbexery.
