Mhlabunzima Hlengwa was a South African politician and Zulu traditional leader. He was the Deputy Speaker of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Legislature from 2004 until his death in March 2005. Prior to this role, he represented the Inkatha Freedom Party in the National Assembly from 1994 to 2004. Hlengwa also served as the chief of KwaThoyana Tribal Authority in eThekwini, KwaZulu-Natal, starting from his appointment in 1988.
