Mianne Bagger is a professional golfer from Denmark, originally named William Bagger. She moved to Australia in 1979 and resumed playing golf in 1998, turning professional in 2003. In 2004, she became the first openly transgender woman to compete in a professional golf tournament by participating in the Australian Women's Open. Furthermore, she qualified for the Ladies European Tour the same year, making her one of the first high-level transgender women to qualify for a professional sports tour. Bagger advocates for the inclusion of transgender women in professional golf.
