Michael Adel is an Egyptian poet born in Giza on August 26, 1987. He graduated from Cairo University with a degree in physical therapy in 2009. Adel is known for writing poetry in Egyptian colloquial Arabic and lyrical poetry. He was one of the founders of the M.E.M. (م.ت.) team dedicated to poetry and music performance, as well as a co-founder of the 'Astigmatism' initiative, which focuses on simple rhymed poetry and drawing.
