Michael Austin is an English organist and harpsichordist, born on March 16, 1941. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London and with Lionel Rogg in Geneva. His notable positions include organist at Wimborne Minster and professor at the Royal Academy of Music. In 1977, he moved to Denmark, becoming organist at Frederikssund Kirke and later founding Skt. Markus Kirke Choir in Aalborg. He is known for his contributions to church music and has an international concert career, promoting organ music through performances and festivals.
