Michael Buselmeier is a German writer and poet, known primarily in Bulgaria for his book 'The Dogs of Plovdiv', published in 1996. The book was released in Bulgarian by the publishing house 'Pygmalion' and in German as 'Die Hunde von Plovdiv' by Das Wunderhorn, as part of the series 'German Journey to Plovdiv'. He currently resides in Heidelberg.
