Michael John Chandler (born May 27, 1945) is an Anglican priest and author educated at Brasted Place College, Lincoln Theological College, and King's College London. Ordained in 1973, he served curacies at St Dunstan's Canterbury and St John the Baptist, Margate, before becoming incumbent at Newington and Hackington. He was Canon Residentiary at Canterbury Cathedral (1995-2003) and Dean of Ely until his retirement in 2011. Chandler has authored several books including works on John Mason Neale, Henry Parry Liddon, the Oxford Movement, and Queen Victoria's Archbishops of Canterbury.
