Barbu Mihail Cismărescu (1916-1983) was a Romanian journalist and director of the Romanian section of Radio Free Europe, known by the pseudonym Radu Gorun. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Bucharest in 1937 and moved to Paris for further studies. Cismărescu worked at various publications and joined Radio Free Europe in 1952, eventually becoming head of news in Munich. He was appointed head of the Romanian section in 1981 but fell ill and died from cancer in 1983. He also published numerous legal and economic studies.
