Michael D. Jager, born on August 3, 1968, is an American politician affiliated with the Republican Party. He served in the United States Army from 1985 to 1987 and later in the Iowa Army National Guard until 1991. Jager graduated from La Porte City High School in Iowa and studied history and political science at the University of Dubuque. He represented District 27 in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1999 to 2001 and has been involved in local civic and political organizations.
