Major-General Casimir Michael Grigg was a British Army officer known for winning the Military Cross in Sicily during World War II. He rose to the rank of major in the British Army and later became the first commander of the Zambian Army under President Kenneth Kaunda. Grigg took command of the Northern Rhodesia Army in January 1964, prior to Zambia's independence later that year. He served until his retirement in 1967, after which he was succeeded by Major General T.S. Reids.
