Michael Ndapamapedu Hishikushitja was a Namibian parliamentarian born on November 22, 1953. He grew up in Onamunama and was active in the People's Liberation Army of Namibia during the 1970s. After facing political persecution, he completed a master's degree in education in British exile. Hishikushitja served as a Regional Councillor for Oshikango and was a member of the first National Council of Namibia. He was known for his dedication to public service and passed away from a heart attack on September 27, 2001, shortly before his 48th birthday.
