Michael Jarvis was an English Thoroughbred horse trainer known for training numerous Group One winners, including three winners of the British Haydock Sprint Cup. He maintained around 80 horses in training and collaborated closely with his main jockey, Philip Robinson. Jarvis's illustrious career lasted nearly 40 years, with notable victories across England, Ireland, Germany, and Italy. He announced his retirement in February 2011 due to declining health issues, including heart surgery and cancer, and passed away on 20 September 2011 at the age of 73.
