Michael Dean Keathley, born on March 9, 1978, is a former American football guard in the NFL who played for the San Diego Chargers. He was claimed by the Houston Texans in 2003 but didn't play for them and returned to the Chargers. In 2004, he signed a one-year contract with the Chicago Bears, though he did not see game action. A college football player at Texas Christian University, Keathley later settled in Athens, Pennsylvania, where he became a volunteer high school football coach for his three sons.
