Michelle Lorraine Ballantyne (née Cross), born on November 28, 1962, is a British former politician, nurse, and property developer. She led Reform UK Scotland from January 2021 to February 2022 and served as a Member of the Scottish Parliament for the South Scotland region from 2017 to 2021. After working as a nurse and health service manager, she became politically active, including serving on Scottish Borders Council. She was a contender for Scottish Conservative leadership and, after resigning from the party, joined Reform UK. Ballantyne lost her seat in the 2021 elections, leading to her resignation from party leadership.
