Michiel Kroesbergen is a Dutch draughts player and writer, born on December 15, 1980. He grew up in Gelderland and studied in Groningen. Kroesbergen holds the title of International Master in draughts. He became the Dutch pupil champion in 1992 and the Groninger champion in 2002 and 2005. From the 2007/08 season, he plays for Hijken DTC in the Ereklasse and writes a column for the website of the City of Groningen's draughts club, DG Het Noorden. He has participated in the Dutch national championship four times starting in 2007.
