Michiel Peters, born December 10, 1951, in Amsterdam, is a co-founder, singer, guitarist, composer, and songwriter of the Amsterdam pop group Nits, active from 1974 to 1985. He started his music career in the 1960s and helped form Nits, where he was a lead vocalist and guitarist. After leaving the band in 1985, he took a break from music, returning in the early 2000s. He has released solo work and contributed to various projects, with a notable album 'The Infant King' in 1989. He has made sporadic performances and recordings since.
