Michitoshi Sabi is a Japanese writer and literary critic, born on March 7, 1960, in Fukui Prefecture. He graduated from the Philosophy Department of Chuo University. He gained recognition in 1991 when his essay 'Quiet System' was selected as an excellent work in the 34th Gunzo New Literary Award for the criticism category. In 2006, he made his debut as a novelist and has since worked for the Sports Nippon Newspaper Company.
