Mickey Hays (June 30, 1972 – June 30, 1992) was an American actor known for his role in the 1986 film The Aurora Encounter, where he played an alien. He had progeria, a rare genetic condition that causes accelerated aging. Despite his condition, he maintained a close friendship with co-star Jack Elam, and he was featured in the 1987 documentary I Am Not a Freak. Sadly, Hays passed away on his 20th birthday, marking a brief yet impactful life in film and awareness of congenital conditions.
