Mickie Jones (1952-2009) was an American rock musician known for being the bassist and co-founder of the 1970s glam rock band Angel. He played on albums such as 'Angel', 'Helluva Band', and 'On Earth As It Is In Heaven', and participated in tours across the U.S. and Japan. Before Angel, he played in the band BUX with Punky Meadows and Ralph Morman. After leaving Angel, he formed the group Empire. Jones later pursued an interest in film production before passing away in September 2009 from liver cancer.
