Mieczysław Porawski was a Polish Catholic priest born on February 12, 1919, in Zarszyn. He served as a dean and was an Honorary Canon of the Co-Cathedral Chapter in Stalowa Wola. Porawski was also a Papal Chaplain, appointed by Pope John Paul II, and he was known for his regional contributions to the community. He passed away on October 26, 2007, in Racławice.
