Mieke van Zonneveld is a Dutch poet, literary scholar, and Dutch teacher, born on April 5, 1989, in Hilversum. She studied Dutch language and antiquity at VU Amsterdam. Van Zonneveld debuted in 2016 with her poetry collection 'Leger' and has published works in various literary magazines. She won the Turing Poetry Contest in 2013 and served as the city poet of Hilversum in 2018 and 2019. Her notable work 'Gods ruïne' is included in an anthology about illness, published in 2020.
