Mignon du Preez, born on June 13, 1989, in Pretoria, is a prominent South African cricketer who served as captain of the national women's team from 2011 to 2016 across all formats: Test, One Day, and Twenty20. Making her debut in January 2007 at age 17, she is known for being the captain with the most matches in T20 and ODI formats. Du Preez was the first South African woman to score 1,000 runs in T20 internationals and led her team for nearly five years before resigning from captaincy in June 2016.
