Miguel Ángel Ramírez Alcántara (April 5, 1908 - July 30, 1989) was a Dominican military officer, revolutionary, senator, anti-Trujillo activist, politician, and minister during the Triumvirate government. He fought for the establishment of democratic systems in the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Nicaragua. Key to the battle of San Isidro in Costa Rica against General Somarribas Tijerino, he also participated in various expeditions and the 1965 civil war, supporting constitutionalists. He is regarded as the most significant anti-Trujillo revolutionary in the Dominican Republic.
