He holds a bachelor's degree in Social Communication - Journalism from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He is also a specialist in Media, Information, and Culture from ECA-USP and a master's degree holder in Arts from UNESP. Since 2007, he has lived in São Paulo and is a critical member of the São Paulo Association of Art Critics (APCA), where he has served as vice-president.
