Miguel Borge Martín is a Mexican politician, born on October 30, 1943, in Cozumel, Quintana Roo. He is a member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) and served as the governor of Quintana Roo from 1987 to 1993. Prior to becoming governor, Borge held a seat in the Senate representing Quintana Roo. His governorship is particularly noted for the impact of Hurricane Gilbert, which struck the Quintana Roo coast on September 14, 1988.
