Miguel de Castro Henriques is an Argentine writer, poet, painter, and translator born on June 5, 1954, in Buenos Aires. He is a representative of Portuguese surrealism. He studied medicine and philosophy, attending classes by Gilles Deleuze. In 1971, he joined the IFIF Academy in Paris and later co-founded the Abaldista Movement. He was part of the dissident group 'Os Surrealistas' and later established the Bureau Surrealista with Mário Cesariny. His works include automatic writing and he has published stories such as 'Uma Nuvem num Pote de Barro'.
