Jorge Araújo Miguel do Carmo, known as Miguel do Carmo or Migué do Carmo, was a Brazilian footballer and railway inspector born in Jundiaí on April 10, 1885. He played as a center-half and is recognized by some sources as the first black player in Brazilian football. In 1900, he co-founded Associação Atlética Ponte Preta, a traditional club in Campinas, and worked with the Paulista Railway Company from 1898 until 1925, moving to Jundiaí around 1904.
