Miquel Navarro Sorní is a Valencian historian and priest who has focused most of his historical research on the study of the Borja family and on the ecclesiastical history of Valencia. He was born in Xirivella in 1954, studied at the Metropolitan Seminary of Valencia and the Faculty of Theology of Valencia, and received his doctorate in Ecclesiastical History from the Pontifical Gregorian University of Rome. He has published extensively on the Borgias, particularly on Alfonso de Borja, Pope Calixtus III, and on the ecclesiastical history of Valencia, especially in the 15th and 16th centuries. He is currently a professor of Church History at the Faculty of Theology of Valencia, president of the Academy of Ecclesiastical History of Valencia, and a member of the Fides et Ratio Chair at the Catholic University of Valencia.
