Miguel Sanches Neto is a Brazilian writer, university professor, and literary critic, born on July 25, 1965, in Bela Vista do Paraíso. He was a columnist for Gazeta do Povo from 1993 to 2012, where he wrote weekly articles on literature. Neto has contributed to various publications including O Estado de S. Paulo and Jornal da Tarde, and has published over 600 literary critique articles and more than 50 books in Brazil and internationally. He currently serves as the rector of the State University of Ponta Grossa.
