Miguel Angel Yajure, born on May 1, 1998, is a professional baseball pitcher from Venezuela. He currently plays for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). Yajure began his career as an international free agent with the New York Yankees in 2015 and made his MLB debut in 2020, becoming the first player to wear number 89, which was the last unused uniform number in the league's history. He was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates prior to the 2021 season.
