Mihai Iacobescu (born August 5, 1938) is a Romanian historian and former senator from the 1990-1992 legislature. He served as deputy director of the History Museum in Suceava and was part of the team that established the Pedagogical Institute of Suceava, which later became Ștefan cel Mare University. He held various academic positions and taught courses on modern and contemporary history, pedagogy, and law. His publications include specialized volumes on history and literature.
