Mihai Stănișoară is a Romanian engineer and politician born on June 11, 1962. He is affiliated with the National Liberal Party (PNL) and previously with the Democratic Liberal Party (PD-L). Stănișoară served as a member of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies from 2000 until March 2007 and has been part of the Romanian Senate since December 2008. He held the position of Minister of National Defence in the Emil Boc cabinet from December 2008 to December 2009, representing Mehedinți County.
