Mihail Mikov is a Bulgarian politician who served as the chairman of the National Council of the Bulgarian Socialist Party from July 27, 2014, to May 8, 2016. He was the leader of the BSP Left Bulgaria coalition before the 2014 parliamentary elections. A trained lawyer, Mikov has been a long-serving parliamentarian, involved in numerous legislative projects and representing the Vidin electoral district. He held the position of Minister of Interior from April 2008 to July 2009 and has also served as Deputy Chairman of BSP, overseeing parliamentary activities.
