Mihkel Soovik (1916-1995) was an Estonian theologian and minister who completed his education at Pärnu Boys' Gymnasium and Tartu University. He was ordained as a Lutheran pastor in 1942 and served in various congregations. After fleeing to the West during Soviet occupation, he became a pastor in the United States, promoting Estonian-language services. He earned a Doctorate in Systematic Theology in 1959 and held professorships at Concordia Colleges until retirement, continuing pastoral work until 1993.
