Michael Dwyer, born on October 10, 1962, is a former Canadian athlete renowned for his sprint events. Originally from Jamaica, he relocated to Canada in 1976. Dwyer excelled in the 200m, achieving a personal best of 20.83 seconds and winning a bronze medal at the 1985 Pacific Conference Games. He also competed at the 1986 Commonwealth Games, finishing sixth in the 200m. As part of the 4 × 100 m relay teams, he earned silver medals at the 1985 Summer Universiade and the 1991 Pan American Games and played in the 1987 World Championships.
