Mikhail Yuryevich Malyshev, known as the Perm Cannibal, is a Russian murderer and cannibal born on October 31, 1965. He was convicted of killing, dismembering, and consuming the remains of two acquaintances in Perm between 1997 and 1998. Malyshev is also suspected of six additional murders. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison but was released in 2022 and resides in Perm. His crimes have made him a notable figure in Russian criminal history.
