Mikhail Shakhparonov (February 15, 1918 – December 18, 2001) was a Soviet physicochemicalist and philosopher. He earned his Doctorate in Chemical Sciences and became a professor in 1959. Notably, he contributed significantly to the physical theory of solutions and other scientific fields, including non-equilibrium thermodynamics. Shakhparonov also engaged deeply with philosophical issues in physics and chemistry. He was awarded various honors, including the Order of the Patriotic War II class and the Order of the Red Star, and was a member of the Communist Party from 1944.
