Mikiko Ishikawa is a Japanese landscape architect born on October 27, 1948. She is a professor at the Green Infrastructure Research Laboratory of the Chuo University Research and Development Institute and an emeritus professor at the University of Tokyo. A holder of a Ph.D. in agriculture and a registered engineer in urban and regional planning, she is also a member of the Science Council of Japan. Ishikawa hails from Iwanuma City in Miyagi Prefecture.
