Mikio Sasaki is the chairman of the board of Mitsubishi Corporation. He graduated from Waseda University in 1960 and began his career at Mitsubishi Corporation, where he has held various significant roles over the years. Sasaki served as president of Mitsubishi International Corporation in New York from 1993 to 1994, became a managing director in Japan in 1994, and was appointed president and CEO in 1998. In 2004, he assumed the role of chairman. He was elected as a director for the International Chamber of Commerce in June 2008.
