Throughout his career, Targo has been involved in various musical groups, playing drums and singing. Notably, he founded the Sunshine Reggae Surprise Band and was a key member of the 2 Quick Start band. He is also recognized for his popular song 'Karikakar', which was voted the number one hit in a century poll by Radio 2 in 2017.
