Mikko Parikka is a Finnish actor and American football player born on December 9, 1988, in Vantaa. He is known for his role as Jiri Viitamäki in the soap opera 'Salatut elämät' from 2010 to 2020, with a return in 2024. He participated in the sixth season of 'Tanssii tähtien kanssa' in 2011 and competed in 'Fort Boyard Suomi' in 2018. Parikka played American football for Vantaan TAFT in 2012 and 2014. He has also performed in summer theater productions and studied theology at the University of Helsinki since 2013.
