He directed numerous short films and twelve feature films, notable works include 'Samorastniki' (1963) and 'Deseti brat' (1982). De Gleria was recognized for his artistic photographic skills and ability to capture the essence of the film's time period, earning the Prešeren Fund Prize in 1975.
