Bascombe started his domestic career with Saint Vincent and the Grenadines at the 2006 Stanford 20/20 and later debuted for the Windward Islands in 2007. He switched to the Combined Campuses before returning to the Windwards in 2011. Notably, in his first-class debut, he scored 37 and 53 runs against Trinidad and Tobago, becoming his team's top scorer.
