Milka Maneva is a Bulgarian weightlifter who has represented her country in international competitions, qualifying for the Olympics twice: in Beijing in 2008 and in London in 2012. However, she did not compete in Beijing due to a doping scandal that excluded the entire Bulgarian team. Two months before the games, she tested positive for a banned steroid and received a four-year ban. At the London 2012 Olympics, Maneva finished fifth in the 63 kg category but was later awarded a silver medal after the disqualifications of other athletes.
