Miloš Karous is a Czech geophysicist and educator, serving as a professor at the Faculty of Science, Charles University. He has also taught at the University of Oulu in Finland, the Norwegian Institute of Technology in Trondheim, Norway, and Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal, Canada. Karous has made significant contributions to geoelectrical methods for geological substrate exploration. He was awarded the Rector's Prize from Charles University in 1990 for his scientific and publication activities.
