Miloslav Jágr was a Czech industrial artist, painter, illustrator, and typographer, born on June 8, 1927, in Podmoklice na Olešce, now Semily. He became a professor at the Fine Arts School (VŠUP) where he influenced many students through his expertise in art and design. Jágr's contributions to the art community, particularly in industrial design and illustration, established him as a prominent figure in the Czech art scene. He passed away on August 23, 1997, in Prague.
